Interestingly, the reader sometimes may not know which little cartoon character is actually Chic N. Chickenson, simply because this is anybody who goes out and plays the game of golf.

The cartoon almost always has two or more characters interacting in a situation that is either ironic or just plainly humorous.

One physical aspect of the characters immediately noticeable is the golf bag attached to their backs with two golf clubs sticking up out of it. Important also is that the little characters wear shorts so as not to be confused with the professionals who are mandated to wear long pants on the golf course. One other distinction is the hat or cap, which has a bow like adornment at the top. Oh, don't let me forget this: Often the reader will observe coffee cups in their hands steaming up pillows of hot air.

So, whether on the tee-box or in the fairway, on the green or in the water, in the rough or at the clubhouse, Chickenson will always offer the reader thought challenging cartoon situations, many of which the reader will have experienced, but will now have the chance to see them turned upside down into comical and laughable little morsels of humor and wit.
