I like the websites you did for my friends. I am renovating my website and adding a music link. I presently just have my paintings on my website. I would like something simple, beautifully from the heart, like theirs, and effective. I have a limited budget at this time, and would like to ask what your rates/estimates are.
THANKS
Peace & Joy

Website’s update can be done within your budget, and made as simple or elaborate as you wish.
Most of the projects get done on set price based on an estimate.
The price may depend on design features, and the overall volume of work. Larger projects (by volume and hours) usually get better pricing.
Logo design and artwork creation, as well as some other design tasks may be priced differently based on level of skills, tools and “brain-work” involved.
The completion time for small web projects is from a few hours (for design elements and updates) to a couple of days.
A simple website can be set up in just one hour. Complete websites 1-2 weeks, or 2-4 weeks for larger sites.

I want to update my website and was thinking of switching to a blog, cause I heard blog can bring traffic. What can you recommend?

If you want to switch your site to blog platform there are some advantages to it. If you add content 1-2 times a week it should get more traffic, potentially. If the content you’re adding is useful and unique you guaranteed good traffic grow. Also you can change look of your blog in the future easily.
Cons are a few - setting up blog and learning to use it may take some time. Blog is a platform, it is a complex combination of software, templates, plugins, programming, so to run a blog smoothly may require some maintenance.
Options are to switch to blog completely, or add a blog to your site. In any case I’d recommend tweaking your current pages to be more SEO friendly and leaving them there, because they’re probably already draw some traffic.
I can setup blog for your site and you can learn how to use it, add pages, etc. There are literally thousands templates and plugins available, and some may be useful to extend your blog functionality.
With our web hosting comes a selection of blog software to use. One of them is WordPress which is a good choice for blog software among others.
I’d only recommend getting a blog if you’re committed to adding content on some regular basis. Otherwise I’d stick with website and just do a new version.
